5 Oaks Conservation

5 Oaks Conservation is a museum textile conservation studio specializing in fabric, cloth, costumes, carpets, furniture, and textile artworks of any historic period or geographic origin.

Ann Svenson founded 5 Oaks Textile Conservation in 2009, relocating from Maui to Los Angeles after twenty-three years as a contract textile conservator based in Hawaii. The 5 Oaks studio is home base for her "have needle, will travel" approach to solving textile conservation issues at textile collection sites throughout the mainland United States and Hawaii.
